Your Naver Cafe membership or profile data

Data Stored Locally

The Extension stores a minimal amount of non-personal data locally on your device using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This data includes:

The Extension operates entirely within your local browser environment. The only network activity that occurs while using the Extension is the normal traffic between your browser and Naver Cafe, which would occur regardless of whether the Extension is installed.

Third-Party Data Sharing

The Extension does not share any data with third parties. There are no analytics libraries, advertising SDKs, crash reporting tools, or any other third-party services embedded in the Extension.

Remote Code

The Extension does not use any remotely hosted code. All scripts and stylesheets are bundled locally within the extension package. No external JavaScript or CSS files are loaded at runtime.

Permissions Used

The Extension requires the following permissions:

`host_permissions: cafe.naver.com`	To access Naver Cafe pages and detect post list elements in order to add the red dot indicator to unread posts.

User Control and Data Deletion

You have full control over all data stored by the Extension:

Clear read history: Open the Extension popup and click the "기록 초기화" (Clear History) button to delete all stored read records.
Uninstall: Removing the Extension from Chrome will automatically delete all locally stored data associated with the Extension.
Manual clearing: You can also clear extension data through Chrome Settings → Extensions → Naver Cafe Unread Post Indicator → Details → Clear data.

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. Since the Extension does not collect any personal data from any user, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.

Security

All data is stored using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API, which is sandboxed within your browser profile and protected by Chrome's security model. Since no data is transmitted over the network, there is no risk of data interception during transmission.

Changes to This Policy
